As reported yesterday, an explosion destroyed one of Elon Musk's SpaceX Falcon 9 rockets at Cape Canaveral in Florida. The blast occurred during a propellant fill operation, according to Musk:
Loss of Falcon vehicle today during propellant fill operation. Originated around upper stage oxygen tank. Cause still unknown. More soon.
